Some time ago sombody on this site was looking for there fathers old 48 coup. This car was described as chopped padded top and a very destinctive fiberglass tilt front end . I saw this car today. I was doing a service call at the farm of a very excentrick surviverlist type guy . While winding my way past semitrailers, large construction equipment and piles of building materials ,i noticed a very destinctive front end. Thinking back a couple of years I remembered a post of someone looking for this car. I don't remember what site I saw this on but if anyone remembers who it was have them PM me. Dan from the Gearhead site is helping as well so if you know this person have them get intouch with eather one of us and hopefully we can get them back together if still interested. Petebil was able to find the origional post under Wanted 48 Chev on this site. Cool what happens when guys work together. As for the origional post it is also a funny example of how threds sometimes get way offtrack when rodders are given a keyboard and access to the internet. Ed

Seems SMD Jeeps (the person originally looking for this car) has not been on this site since October 2014.


Maybe the person who runs this site can access SMD Jeeps email address and forward him a notification.
