Chassis upgrade.....

I'm looking someone to work on upgrading my 33 Chev's chassis..... At Lindsay this weekend I met Jerry Marks who owns DJ's rod and restoration in Orillia. Just wondering if anybody out there has any knowledge of his work and how reputable his work is. Or do you have anybody else you would recommend, hopefully in the GTA area.... Thanks for your time......

I would not use Stoney from Oddballkustoms for chassiswork. I have seen way too much of what I would consider dangerous chassis work come out of his various shop. He does real nice body work and sheetmetal fab, but his chassis building skills I would not want put to use on anything I owned.

Two of the best guys in the Toronto area were Paul at DRS (I don't know if he is still open) and Ron at Performance with a Twist. I haven't seen Paul in about 5 years, but I see Ron regularly. There are others, but those two guys would be the guys I would use. Paul has built just about everything you could think of, and Ron is the guy the other shops bring the stuff they can't fix to.
