my 57 hasn't a speedometer so tried this app for my phone. It's accurate and  works perfectly. Just let it sit on the seat beside me. My 46 truck has a mph speedo which is a pita to always be mentally converting from km/mph...no more. It also has knots for those on the water.

Every GPS on the market does the same thing and won't use DATA like your phone does.

 that's great, except my gps doesn't and I have enough data paid for that this is no where near a problem. many perspectives.

 I did the conversion thing for a week and disconnected the speedo . I don't have data or a gps so I just don't drive like an asshat . Worked ok so far for 8 years

Have a GPS speedo made by Speedhut, they made it in kilometers, also has, direction, elevation, time, speed from 0-60, speed for 1/4 mile, and top speed, half the price of same  thing here.
