One of our members came up with an idea. It is a Free or Pay it Forward section. I will copy/paste the PM to me so you will get an idea of how it works. 

Hey Harry, I came up with a really good idea for helping gear heads....I really believe its the next wave of online interest and paying it forward in life.

I think it would be brilliant to post it here and make a section for it....except here might work a bit better.

I started a FACEBOOK page called "******** Free", basically ******* owners have left over spare parts. Most gear heads are hoarders and chances are I will never in my life need the female belt buckle for a bench seat as mine are converted to buckets. So if I post them for free. All the receiver has to do is pay postage. NOT HANDLING, so there is ZERO chance of anyone marking it up to make money. And with Ont Rodders most would just pick up free. Kijiji has a free section. So should we here....

So basically they are probably odds and ends parts but very usable parts. When I started my build on the Malibu most of the stuff I have replaced is odd ball hard to find. Worthless to most invaluable to me. 

Its not obviously people giving away motors and such...but ya never know.Its good Karma.

I asked in the site that everyone eat the handling Boxes are free at No frills, liquor stores etc. An envelope isnt much. So basically sender gives parts away free. Receiver looks at exact amount on the postage and mails the send the postage in their currency. NO EXTRA MONEY. Also I dont allow anyone selling parts. Its an honor based system and no one paying the shipping will be black balled and banned. 

Anyone can post...but it has to be Wanted part or give away part with photo. Ont Rodders makes no liability with any parts given away.

Also NO THREADS on discussions, people posting pics of their car....Strictly FREE OR WANTED PARTS ONLY.

I think this is awesome and shows integrity of others taking a chance on mailing a free part on their dime hoping people will pay. I believe in people and think they will. Now facebook for my ******* Free parts is more of a global or north america thing...but.....here works better because most of us are in southwestern ontario.
