Yesterday completed a saga that started about a year ago to get my Dad's cars here to BC. Original shipper failed hard to the point of abandoning the Studebaker at a service station in Saskatchewan and never returned for it. Once that company contacted me, I could pick up the pieces and get a new shipper to finish the job. The Mercury was in a field in Edmonton with grass so tall the car was not visible. I plan to take the original company to court in the near future, but not holding my breath.
Very glad to have them back in my possession. Now is the slow road to putting them back into original condition.

I'm still finding out some new things about these people, but the 'Company' is/was called Vehicles in Motion; Don't know current status, but the contract wasn't directly with them which is how they operate. Before I made the deal, they didn't have a bad rep online in fact was mostly positive, but starting mid last year the thing went very hard south on the online rep front. VIM as I understand is really just some dude in Louisiana.
The shipper I was assigned is Brian Denena of Orillia.
lol
thinking about that nasty tow rig that was just "supposed to be for picking 'em up "
.. I wonder if the cars got left behind as pieces of that ugly trailer broke off ???
