I went to the visitation this evening ........hours were 6 - 8 pm . I got there at 6:15 and didn't make it to the front of the huge line until 7:45 . Mike's wife Jerilou , along with son and daughter , insisted on greeting and chatting with every single person and I'm sure she was exhausted .......someone finally gave her a chair and she continued her greetings while sitting . The parking lot was full of rods as it seemed every car guy in Windsor was there paying their respects to Mike as well as his family . Car guys are the best aren't they ? I saw some familiar faces and got to know some other car guys while standing in line . Fortunately the cool weather gave us a break . I'm betting this week's Wednesday night cruise will have a big turnout to talk about Mike and discuss old times .

I got there just a little before 6.00 and the line was already back to the door. A great support for a really great Guy.
Hot Rod Heaven got a good one in Mike. RIP my friend!
Jerilou is a trooper, she insisted on standing to greet everyone. She finally agreed to sit. Teejay, sorry we did not meet. The church was just as packed on Tuesday as visitation was. All went to Place Concorde for a meal after the church. Mike will be missed by all who knew him. We will sure miss him at our breakfast meets.
No, that belongs to my brother, his since 1961. I sold my car a year or so back. We were not using it much and are doing more with our grandkids and are more in the travel mode. Unsure if we will get back into another car or not. Still like the hobby, we were at the Roadmates picnic a few weeks back, used a friend's Chevelle ragtop.
