Big deal ? Was this some astronomers having fun with the rest of us plebeians ? Looked like a regular old full moon to me ......I did get to freeze my cojones off outside at 3:30 am
Idono why they say it's the first one in 69 years ..
early 80's I saw the moon so low and soooo large it looked to be just a few hundred feet above the trees along the shoreline of the lake our cottage was on
it was literally the size of a football stadium just above the trees
I just went out and took a couple of pics on my phone a couple of minutes ago.....It is larger than usual, a bit more orange. The pic on the phone doesnt look any different than a usual full moon, but with the naked eye, it seems larger
