The pistons are aftermarket to accept any after market large valve heads ,and balanced to 50 oz newer weight screw in main studs hv oil pump roller chain .Stress honed ,with plate .Have over 3 grand in it without assembly Pistons are HYP This will fit any 289-302 car or truck have cherry picker to load it in any vehicle .23 miles east of Windsor if you ever had a engine built paying each item it adds up quickly
I'm not a Ford guy, But I'm almost positive my Boss 302 was 4 bolt mains and certainly not Flat-top pistons with 4 valve reliefs ? (Absolutely positive it wasn't a 4 valve head/jug).
This is not a Boss motor it is 10 to 1 comp 80s 5 liter not 4 bolt main just have ARP studs instead of bolts has extra strong Factory rods eye brows are not for Boss heads .they have Canted valves .So hope that explains .Reason 4 valve notches so pistons can be used both sides[ not 4 valve motor they are OHC over head cam] AND is that a 68-9 FASTBACK Torino Had a new one miss that car

Yeah, the last question confused me ....didn't see Boss mentioned anywhere in the initial post . Boss is a totally different motor that happens to have the same cubes as the sbf .
