I will admit that for many , many years I wouldn't be caught dead in a four -door , much less a station wagon ......then in the 80's I had a son playing hockey and a daughter going to dance classes soooooo , I bought a beautiful ( ?!? ) 76 Pinto wagon , 4 speed no air , for $ 225 , .
I've noticed a growing number of wagons as "rods" these days , maybe due to the shortage and $$$ of the usual 2 door , ...maybe not .
Anyhow , you are welcome to post pics of a wagon that you like but since I like Ford wagons , especially 50's variety , I'll throw a few pics on here .
A couple of rare ones ....a 1960 Ford wagon that is for sale and a 1957 Buick that I always thought had neat styling . I know the tri-5 Chev Nomads get lots of love but I like the Buick .
I would have to look it up but I'm thinking only a few hundred 2 door wagons were made in 1960 , quite rare , would love to see one with a Boss 9 Jon Kaase motor for gettin' the groceries in a hurry before the ice cream melts .

It's amazing the factory would build the tooling for such a short run. The roof die alone would cost a fortune. Short runs like that would never happen today.
2 door and 4 door probably used the same roof.
The wheel base on 2 doors and 4 doors are all the same.
I have a '94 Caprice SS wagon. Everyone says how long it is.
It's an illusion. Same length as a car.
the 72 was a Factory ordered car with the endura front end,I put 455 Pontiac into it, I have a 455 buick and 4 speed,12 bolt rear in the blue 64,works awesome, didnt have any newer pics on the comp. but it looks almost the same....
"I've been happy with them but they have started to leak hydraulic fluid now"
The name Crappy Tire is well deserved.
I bought mine a few years ago. They started to leak just after the warranty expired. One of them blew the fluid reservoir fill hole plug to God knows where. I didn't have the right size O ring in my selection and I sure don't have a rubber pug. Took the exploded view with I think parts numbers to my local store. Nope, call this 800 number, Master Craft, they make all our stuff, they'll fix you right up. Call the number. Lady say we have no parts we only replace while under warranty.
I bought them because they are much less money than the original Go Jacks. It was still a chunk of change. My mistake. But it doesn't sit well that they sell something that can become useless in a short period of time because you can't get parts.
I know I can probably find the O rings and some sort of rubber plug some where. I'm also assuming the leak is is due to the O rings on that release knob.
Off topic..
Bought a bug killer pro-pain yup...pain-Crap tire = epic fail..not Canadian at all
Was not out of warranty -told no war-ran-ty = call this number no remedy.

I build all sorts of stuff to fund my hot rod project.
The problem is... My project is in it's 7th or 8th year now. Good thing is, I haven't had to touch the bank account.
