I’m not sure where the “Bike Show” part of that name came from. According to their website, it’s called the “Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo”. I don’t recall seeing any bikes last year but I was in a hurry! Whatever, it’s a great show, well worth attending.
Well dang it....I must have had a brain fart or stroke, maybe both. Time Traveller..... your right. No bike show. ( Although, that title would be correct if there is only one!! . ) Well, so much for proof reading.
Toronto’s Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo is history now and it was a great show. The ELTA group put on a great display as always. One special event was the awarding of the Canadian Street Rodding Hall of Fame “Heritage Award” to the ’34 Ford pickup of Eric Hill of Syndham, Ontario. While induction into the Hall of Fame is for a person or club, this award is for a street rod that is well engineered and constructed, safe, well detailed, driven (very important) and most of all, reflective of the spirit of traditional street rodding. Eric’s truck certainly displayed all of these qualities and he should be very proud – well deserved. Although the truck looked like a brand new, fresh build, Eric stated that it was built 13 years ago and has over 40,000 miles on it – amazing detail and finish. Congrats to Eric and to ELTA.
Congrats to Eric and all the other brothers for an incredible show. Special thanks to Wayne for working so hard and watching him put kids into cars and seeing their eyes light up and smiles was priceless. So proud to be a brother.
I made a video posted on the Fans of ELTA Page on Facebook for those who couldn't attend and wanted a glimps of the show.
