I and the other guys in the Ganaraska Ratlers  lost a very good friend today. Jerry Plante passed away today.  Grumpy to his friends Jerry was like an onion , many layers. 

       He was always talking about his family and how proud he was of them. He loved Susan, his family, his truck, his old biker buddies, and his radio show . Grumpy was

     an appropriate name when it came to politics as he was proud of Canada and held little back if he thought some politician was messing it up. His hotrod passion was

    old Harleys, is old Chev truck and his radio show. Known as J P Phantom he put together a really cool radio show every week on our local station of 50s & early 60s rock. 

   He took great pride in playing car and bike songs and songs he called " the ones you should have heard". I will miss our weekly coffee clatch. We had lots of laughs and

   for that I will always have fun memories. He did leave me with something else If there is something you want to do, do it, something you want to build , quit talking about it 

   and just build it, somewhere you want to go, go there because stuff happens . Thanks for allowing this.  Ed
