Hello: I am hoping to find a windshield pivot nut & bolt set for my Model 'A' and a quick release steering wheel hub to fit a 5/8" column. One member already suggested one but it seems there is very little out there for advise and choice. And if anyone can offer some advise on where to get a safety in the Peterborough area, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
I didn't like that style of quick release that was suggested. I don't want to have to trust my life with something so cheap. That race style is fine for track use but I too wanted one for road use. I bought the Strange quick release hub. Strange has been around for a long time, with time tested products. It requires a 3/4" shaft to weld to. We built a custom steering column. But I did need to lathe out the shaft just a little.
