Interesting . My son is building a 72 Javelin in this style air shocks,fat tires on aluminum slots,slapper bars and side pipes and he is not old enough(30) to really remember the first time thru ,he just likes the style. I even ended up with an Ventura in a similar mode with easter egg colour and big graffics down the side as company for my delivery. And you know what, its just plane fun and get lots of comments from gezers saying that it looks like there highschool ride. Ed

I just replaced rear springs and installed air shocks on the 64 "9er" no air in shocks and wheel well opening is almost at top of tire, "California Rake"!!!! Front springs are next, old rear ones were 2 1/2" shorter than new ones!!! Pooched?

Great site! Always liked that look..Put Pontiac station wagon springs on the rear of my 65 GTO ...couldn't afford air shocks!...lol
