We are taking the Bantam to the Meltdown Drags held in Byron Illinois. We will be leaving July 18 and returning July 23. My buddy Dave and I are currently the only two going and we were wondering if there are maybe one or two others that would be interested in partaking in this happening. We are pretty well self sufficient and will be camping in the pits using the hauler as facilities. We've done this before and it works well. The Bantam is registered to race at Byron IL at the Meltdown Drags. We are travelling with an enclosed trailer containing both the Bantam and Dog Spit to be used as a push car. There were four of us going, but one unfortunately had to drop out. We will be leaving the Whitby area around noon on Wednesday, July 18, travelling by 407, 401 and 402 crossing at Sarnia and proceeding to Battle Creek MI where we will spend the night. Thursday morning, we will travel to Byron where we will camp in the pits Thurs., Fri., and Sat. Sunday evening, we will return to Battle Creek where we will spend the night.
