Might have something. 6 cyl chev runs like a champ. The impeller in the prop thing must not be working because it overheats and cracks the exhaust manifolds. (not pumping the water up) Dude had it a Searay place and they didn't make sure it was pumping water.

Maifolds were welded and ready to go, but they didn't even put the muffs on to make sure.

Lots of new stuff on it. I did the engine. I'm guessing about a 25' boat.

Interior is pretty nasty, but top is good etc, and on a trailer gtg.

I'll confirm he still has it and let you know. Might even have some pics of it here.

I know of another one sitting in field, just around the corner, merc cruiser D/line did run when parked there a "few" years ago??? good scrub would likely bring it back, covered in mould now. Can check to see what he wants for it??? Pete

Awrighty then. He's looking for $1100 with trailer.

It's a V6 chev. New starter, alt/gen and all the solenoids (4 or 5) that run the steering and prop lift/throttle etc.

Just the impeller thingy to pump the water to the engine. Exhaust manifolds are prolly cracked again. Welded them once already.

Make a reasonable offer if interested cause I know he won't do anything else to it again.

Where can you scrap old fiberglass boats after they have been stripped? I see them sitting in fields and have been wondering when they will pass a bylaw like they have for derelict cars.

I'm just south of Mitchell and can have it here no problem. It's currently sitting at buddies cottage/house thing, but he's there all the time and will bring it down from Tuckistan Siberia.

It's exactly as the pictures I posted cause I saw him the other day and asked about it again.

Like I said, it is a nice boat but needs some love. I bet $900 would take it, between us.

Pretty sure I repacked the trailer wheel bearings when it was here.

Almost positive it has a beer holder or 10.

Just remembered I replaced the motor that lifts the whole prop/out-thing too.

I was looking at costs of manifolds.....almost a 1000 dollars.....and if the engine got hot enough to keep cracking manifolds sounds like it has possible other concerns...guess I pass
