Plumbing a 5.7 Vortec with 4L60E

I have a crate 5.7 Vortec engine and for fuel lines have so far figured out I need -8AN and -6AN fittings (or JIC 8 and JIC 6) to connect to the existing engine fuel lines to the spider injectors, but then what?

I picked up a new gas tank (2000 Sonoma replacement) that has what appear to be plastic push on connectors for fuel supply and return lines.

Will JIC connectors to barbed ends work with gasoline compatible hoses and fuel hose clamps from the engine to the tank and fuel filter?  Max pressure should be around 65 psi for the injectors.

Also, I have a Griffin rad that came with no fittings for the trans cooler.  The trans lines were also cut off at the fittings going into the trans.  Not sure what to use there either.

Not looking for anything fancy here but just reliable.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Make sure to use hose and clamps rated for fuel injection use.

I always use regular fuel line and hose clamps on tranny lines. Never had one pop before.
