On Saturday October 27th the Sarnia Street Machines car club was inducted into to the Canadian Street Rodding Hall of Fame at the annual evening gala at the Best Western hotel in Brantford, Ontario – well deserved. The club brought several cars to the event for display and one was stolen while it was parked right outside the windows of the ballroom where the gala was being held! It’s a 1984 GMC pickup and it was a high end build. The bastards smashed a side window and hot wired it while the event was going on. The Brantford police know about it but they suggested it might already be parted out, but if you see it give them a call at(519) 756-0113. This was a special toy for the owner just like so many of your cars, so let’s find this thing.Thanks.
Truly sad! Not much worse in life than a thief! Hopefully the truck will be found...I will post on fb and maybe someone will see it here in Northern Illinois and report!

I and my grandson lost this one . sitting in driveway locked . 30 seconds and it was gone . OPP chased it the next day after 519trucks fellows spotted it . OPP chased it to reserve . 2 weeks later Reeve got a bill form 407 . His plates were used and he called OPP . they arrested 2 Indians
truck was scrap :) Another friend from Clinton lost his 06 red crew diesel at Cosco at Waterloo 5 mins in store it was gone insurance paid him 27g . cost 80g to buy a new one
Be careful with the paint brush folks. My son in law is native and he is one of the hardest working and honest people I have ever met. We are proud of him and thrilled to call him our son.
And I thought this would be a friendly "hot rod" forum.

I have to speak up, and say that I have the exact same situation here. Not everyone fits the stereo type. Well said Northern 52. Sniper

That makes 3 of us. I have some friends here and there around Ontario and parts further that lived here long before we Europeans arrived. It's been my experience that some white guys can be liars, cheats and thieves as well as anyone. Just answer a Kijiji ad to find that out.
I have friends that are native , but its a known fact the reserve and area is a hot spot for other peoples property going missing then being parted or sold .
