I have a pickup that likes to slobber trans fluid during the winter months when it's parked for extended periods. Likely the O ring on the filler tube is the culprit, once the convertor drains back it makes it's way past, and to the floor making a big mess. This tip doesn't fix the drool, but it will contain it. Find an old fridge door or small freezer lid to use as a catch pan. Get rid of the handle and hinges, weld up the holes and wha-la, a cheap and sometimes free containment pan. Throw a bit of floor dry in the pan to soak up the fluid and Bob's your uncle. An upper freezer door from a fridge works about right for a bike, size wise. Idea works great for an enclosed trailer as well. Velcro the pan to the floor with the tape style Velcro so it stays put and for easy removal when needed. The pans are only 1 1/2 to 2 inches tall so most times it can stay right where you need it, without moving it all the time. Sniper.
I made a parts washer bin out of the metal veggie drawer of a 60-70 GE fridge two pieces of threaded rod across it and a section of the wire fridge racking for a half wide shelf held up by the threaded rods
a couple of wingnuts and I could remove the rods to set something larger in
had that for 30 years
some newer fridges have removable shelf cubby compartments in the doors that work great inside cupboards and cabinets
