Hello:  As someone without a winterized garage, I thought I might add this thought, as obvious as it is.  If your garage is a mess, now is the time to get out and prepare it for a great summer ahead.  My workbench is a mess and it is still too cold for me to work on the car so I go out and clean the bench until my fingers go numb.  Then I come inside and warm them up while researching on the net about how to fix what I have left to fix.  There are some great Youtube videos from Vintage Speed on how Stromberg carbs work and how to set them up.  For me it is just a learning thing.  So much to learn.  Then I go back out and tidy up the workbench some more.  I know when the weather turns nice, I won't have time to tidy.  Maybe everyone already knows all this.  I wish I had some recent build progress to post but I'll have to leave that to the guys with heated garages.  Although I did install some rad shell support struts and an overflow container.  And I am going to shorten my pump to carb fuel line as soon as I can do it without numb fingers.  I already made a mock up with a coat hanger.  I'll post photos as soon as I finish the fuel line.  I guess everyone's rides are pushing on the garage door about now.  Do people usually wait to take out their rides until the municipality clear the salt and sand away in the Spring ?

The roads here in Fort Erie were clear of salt and crud a week ago but we had about an inch of snow yesterday and the roads are white again so i,ll wait for a good rain to clean them again before i venture out in my ride. I have spent a couple of days on this here electronic device searching out a supplier of some door panels for my 51. I have found National Chevrolet seems to be the go to place. Price seems fair and delivery in about 7-10 days from order time. A little heat and i have to go under car and pull driveshaft to replace tranny extension seal. Then ,, as Willie says " ON the road again".
