I went to this show last year and it was excellent. The weather was good yesterday so I bet the turnout was impressive again. Unfortunately I couldn't make it this time. I am prioritizing getting one of my Chryslers which I have been restoring put back together so I can finally enjoy driving it, and hopefully I'll be driving it to this show next year!

A few things are not "correct" about that '65 but overall looks nice and clean. You trying to get me in trouble with my wife? :) I've been thinking I'd like to get something from the Forward Look era, like a '56 Desoto, '56 New Yorker, 1957-60 Dodge or a '61 Chrysler. Unless I win the lottery though, I'd probably have to sell my '66 Newport convertible though.
In the fall of 1955, my teacher, a cute young thing, came to school driving a 2 door hard top version. I fell in love with the car and wanted to run away and marry the teacher. I was 11.
My dad had the exact same car in the early '60's except it was a 2 door hardtop and painted red, white and black. He had to disconnect the neutral safety switch so he could leave it in drive overnight. In the winter time the cables on the pushbutton drive would freeze and he couldn't get it to change. Just one of those unsafe little things you do to get through life. TMJ
