well this might help
mcdonalds fries . in north america there are 14 ingredients
in the UK there are three
potato
oil
salt

maybe you should think of going somewhere unless you prefer "better eating through chemistry"...??

I am scared to look at the ingredients in those "Beyond Meat" things........

I worked at A&W during high school (69-70)....If I remember right, a Teenburger was 69 cents, fries a quarter..... we were making $1.35/hr.....Now, at min wage at $14, I guess it evens out

that is pretty much on par with the rest of the burger joints at 10.50 ea. next time your in belleville stop into shoe less joe's for a burger, you won't get out of there for 21.00 each per person with fries and a pop, it's crazy. maybe try boston pizza for a sticker shock, something medium and extra cheese with a pop was over 35.00 while jim's in stirling delivers to the door with a large special and a medium pepperoni for an extra 2.00 for less than that. they will be going up shortly at boston for a new boat. lol

hortons .. large coffee .. 2 bucks
-register shows 2.02

haven't checked but I bet it's a bad idea to use the ol' debit card....

and ,
I wish I had the self discipline to ask for and save the recipes for EVERYTHING over the course of the year

I'd love to tally up the "rounding off's" both positive and negative

you know
to see just how badly WE get ripped off , now without pennies....

betcha it's much more than we expect

It's not only the minimum wage.
Prices are padded to pay Uber Eats.
Customer pays, but the restaurant pays them as well.

Since I have a "digestive dis-order" I don't eat fast food at all. Even a lot of the chain restaurant's food is pre-made and simply heated - so I don't eat at those places either.
On the other hand my wife is probably the best healthy-meal cook around so we eat well. ( same woman that built the motor in our Falcon)
Multi-talented !

Sounds like a keeper Randy.....We don't eat out much either. My wife knows didley about cars, but is a great cook....I need to go on a diet, I already have my winter weight on.
