So, how did your day begin?.......

Mornin'

More friggin snow......grrrrr. Wouldn't be quite so aggravating except I can hardly hold the handle on a snow shovel first thing in the morning, can't tie a shoe-lace, button a shirt, brush my teeth or much else with my right hand ( I'm right handed) for the first couple hours each day. The tendons in the palm of my hand for my " f#ck-you" finger are telling me "f#ck-you.....we're not working......and we're going to create serious pain too".
Try wiping your azz with your none-dominate hand some morning, you'll see what a pain in the azz ( pun intended) it can be.

So my wife Sue bought me a Dr Ho Tens package, all the bells and whistles. Hands, feet, buttocks.....whatever you want to make twitch - I got the stuff to do it.
This morning I got wired up, I put the pads on my Trapezius muscles ( upper back, neck & top of shoulder), set the voltage level and let it go through a cycle.

It has 3 different cycles and each cycle has about 5 or 6 different "modes" it goes through, one after another.

I switched to the next cycle, the first one having run through and feeling pretty good to me, the second one having an entirely different effect but still a pleasant sensation.

Once it finished I moved on to the last cycle. It was different yet again and about 1/2 way through began to feel a little intense so I reached down to dial it back a little......just as it hit the next mode.
My arm spasmed from my fingers clear up to my ear - which in itself was tolerable - but when my fingers spasmed I turned the level up instead of down......Waaaay up.

Well holy sh*t, Mother Mary and Jesus in a raft, I swear sparks shot out my eyes.  I must have looked like a Voodoo doll  being poked from all sides with needles......

Once the mode stopped I shut it off......and picked myself up off the floor - across the room from where I'd been sitting.

..........and went upstairs to have another shower and change my underwear.

Aside from that it works great!

I have one of them. It worked really well on my torn rotator cuff.

I ski sloped down two or three stairs the other day with two toes bent fully under the foot

one's purple , the other has a purple line across the joint
(ouchouchouch..)

I can only imagine the same bolt across the room if suddenly they bent either way "under power"

Well Randy I thought Tim Conways novacane skit was about the funnest medical type thing
ever but you might just have come in a really close second. Just one little piece of advise. Remove
before showering or there will be sparks shooting out of your eyes. Thanks for sharing. Ed

Yep, they work well.....really well, lol.
When I fractured my skull and neck some years back I decided that laughter indeed is the best medicine. My kids tell their friends about all the "predicaments" their old man has gotten himself into so if others can have a laugh at my expense then all the better.
