Bypassing computer for over drive

92 sierra 3 sp with over drive. New engine, removed computer, transmission has electronic over drive. How do I bypass the computer so over drive works? Or is it even possible?

google is your friend.
200 or 700R4 I m assuming
basically it is 12v , with a momentary switch or toggle to ground - i forget which
the actual OD is mechanical - what you are hooking up is the convertor lockup - and - it is a pain to remember to lock and unlock - so prepare for the eventual burned up tranny

There are a couple of different ways to lock the converter on a 700R4. Go here to find the information you need purplesagetradingpost.com/sumner/techinfo/700R4p1.html. Sumner is a great guy and his website was really helpful back in 1998 when I put the 700R4 into my 57 Chev

 To add to this..

IF you are buying a B&M kit, they have two.

One that works with mechanical speedo and one that works with electronic speedo.

You still need to run it thru your brake pedal.
An adjustable vacuum switch can be used for when you stomp on the loud pedal to break the power connection.
