With all that is going on in the world today, it seems like a good time to stay home, clean the shop, work on the project and stay safe.

Take care everyone

A world-wide virus and warmer weather ? A perfect excuse for some garage time. "Clean the shop" ? Darn. Always something to ruin it. It'll take all summer just to clean my bench ! Thank you Warren.

Damn....wish I were retired. I just pumped some gas and every thing I touched, I'm thinking, has Corona cooties all over it.
It's freaking me out and living in the GTA sucks also. Odds are good for me to catch a dose...

Personal distance of 3ft, and you will be ok if you quit kissing and hugging strangers that are coughing and sneezing. Ed

the warmer weather might help slow it down

body temp is what it is to kill bacteria .. no other reason

so higher outside temp .. higher body temp , increased cooling

more might be seeping out than going in

cold weather helps virus' thrive

italy and whatnot MIGHT be having an issue right now due to the difference in what a body calls "normal"

here -20 isn't unnormal ..there maybe not so much

do different imune responces may happen ..

I'm in the hot tub morning and night, have a good soak then jump in the shower. that, combined with lots of outdoor work/fresh air seems to help.So far so good.

I'm hoping to get some good work done on the roadster over the next little bit! I didn't want to touch the roadster until the truck is done. Now that it's done, and I'll be spending a lot of time at home I'm hoping I can get a lot done!

Maybe in the summer Jarvis when they're not as crispy, this time of the year they'd be like using 120 grit. Lotsa traction !

As my orignal question was, when I get home this weekend, since nobody commented, can I go and get grocerys,so since no one ahas responded I guess everythong os normal in Ontario,no problems going shopping, gas getting beer,no closures,no quarentines, going out to get a meal at a restaurant, beacause here in South Carolina,it is getting crazy,so I will be glad to get home to Ontario to live a normal life,So if anybody can give me a idea what it is like at home would be great,I was going to try to get some stuff down here to bring home,so it sounds like everything is good at home,

Not normal Some problems shopping but no problem with gas, beer. Restaurants are closed except for drive thru and take out. Gov't wants everyone to stay home. Most everything shut down. Border shut down tomorrow but they will let you back in but will probly  want a 14 day quarantine.

Ya about that Geoff, The only thing normal around here is the pot shops in Alderville are still going strong. Bad news is all the
restaurants are takeout or drive thru like BobT said. A lot of the bigger employers are shut down and the schools are closed,
some say they may just shut down till Sept if there is a second wave . A lot of people who can have self isolated for 2weeks but
a lot of retail is still open. The grocery stores are still open but there are a lot of empty shelves. Used to laugh at the bread isle
with the usual 20 different kinds but today there was 1loaf of white bread and this wierd loaf of blackish nut and seed loaf , so
I wonder how it will taste with cheese and bologna on it. They have cancled all indor and outdoor activities of 10 or more people
so there goes your usual Sunday morning services, early car shows and they even cancled the Float Your Fanny race. Good news is
gas is only 77cents. Bad news is there aren't too many places to go. So I am guessing things are pretty much the same where you
are. Ed

I went over to the local grocery store the other day.
One aisle, both sides loaded with TP.
There is no shortage. The never will be a shortage.
But they were out of brown sugar.
Damn hoarders.

Oh sure, just "clean the shop". As easy as that. Have you seen this mess ? (actually I know you have Wuga). But I bit the bullet and started cleaning. Your garage and the one I just saw posted yesterday make me cry. You guys have hospital wards compared to mine. Still you are an inspiration. Plus it gets hard to find my tools, my parts and when it's bad enough, my car! So I guess it is time. I started tidying up this morning and I hope to do a second shift this afternoon. Probably going to take me all week but should make the summer much easier to find stuff. I made some headway but the bench is like room 101 at school (detentions). I was in that class a lot. Anybody else familiar with detentions ?

Detention......my first 2 years of high school I thought Detention was a mandatory class.
Our youngest son takes after his old man apparently.
I heard from some of his friends when they were in high school that his name was added to the end of announcements almost every morning - to pay a visit to the office. It seems he kept parking in an area the Principal didn't want students parking. It was somewhat hidden from view and Staff opinion was that there were things going on they didn't approve of.
Gee, young people being young people.
Anyway, the Principal finally told him " if you park there once more I'm having your car towed"
Next morning when the Principal arrived at the school his parking spot was occupied.
Yep, we can be like that, lol.
