If Hobart or Miller make a 110 Volt welder, I would like to get one if the price is good. I checked Lincoln but I understand their's is a pain to maintain.
I am new to welding and so I just watch the reviews of welders on youtube and in one, the guy said the Lincoln performed ok but when altering the workings inside the unit, it was a pain in the butt. Perhaps it was a problem with only that model. I don't know. So far I am leaning toward a Hobart because it gets good reviews and does up to a quarter inch steel. But I'll check out the Everlast reviews. Hopefully TSC will have a sale when I finally have the cash to get one. Thank you all for helping. I am told by at least 2 sources the the Lincoln I am using up to now is a piece of junk. Perhaps it was abused in the past. I don't know.
Do you want flux core or gas welding. Quite the difference in price for a quality unit. Again stay home, stay safe and check out amazon.ca. Good selection. Get Prime, it pays for itself in times like these and you also get tons of great programming on prime video included.
