AAAAARRRRGGGGHHH !!!! Projects Covid Govt

So I guess were all trapped some how by the latest goings on . Those of us that can drive our toys , cruise nites are shut down and I guess swap meets also

Some projects affected by cross border shopping being held up

Un employment or CERB or half days cutting into the hobby budgets

Myself , at our last house we got hooked up with a crooked contractor The Fifty , The Nastygirl and The Gasser project and The Little Gremlin , all into storage . For two years . Then we moved and we bought a house with a decent yard , but horribly back yard access for cars and car trailer

We moved march 2018 and took about a year to decide ok we,re gonna extend the garage and build an apartment on top of it . A year dealing with the city of Innisfil , our architect lady so so fed up she made an appointment to go see the planning dept . And after what I heard was a heated one hour long lesson on how to read blue prints . # days later we had our permits .

By then it was too late in the season to start the build , then this spring Boom , Covid . Thank You so much china .

So here I am all I have is the front wall of my garage with the garage door and half of one side wall , So Far . And a builders promise to be done in august

My toys have all been in storage for 5 years ??

And to top it off Mr Trudeau and Mr Blair have decided that I am a criminal and a menace to Canadian society and cant even go to the range for an afternoon

2020 has been a very strange year , and then even when I get the Fifty and The Doughla,s Trans Am home , its not gonna be like schools out and hit the door / streets running . Each one is gonna have to get checked over . Oil changes fresh fuels check hoses brakes etc

Hopefully soon I can get out an drive my stuff

Ha ha don't get me started on that . I chipped a piece of the back of the second molar from the back on left lower jaw . Just before covid started , it didn't hurt initially Its very sharp , have to be careful how I chew stuff and its another week to get into dentist appt . I buy anbesol oral jel etc every few days . So theres another 500 pocket change at least that coulda went to getting my cars outta hock / storage prison . Or to finishing garage project

We had a good turn out. The cook and servers did wear masks.

About 40 cars showed up last Saturday in Ajax. Everyone is outside and keeping away from each other, pretty much.
My daughter makes me wear a mask when we go. Probably a good thing even if it makes me look goofy.

I understand the Cobourg gendarmes are running a modified car blitz for the month of July. Be careful out there.

There not really looking for us gray beards but poorly lifted trucks and tuner suspension mods might be a different story.
The police chief told me they are not really out for muscle cars or hot rods but if you do something stupid and get there attention ,look out.
Wonder what the court case would look like if and when it might come up due to this virus thing. If they impound an unsafe vehicle and its
6 months to the case is heard who pays . Would you be able to claim that there wasn't a licensed class A mechanic on to say what was safe
and what wasn't. Kinda different this year than the last couple July blitzes. Ed

for the past three months.. tooth aches .. a bunch of em .. need lots of work done

for years the only pain killers that worked .. for anything were tylonal 3's

but I found a bottle of 650mg Acetaminophen..

two of those and I'm usually good for the day .. when needed..

over the counter , much cheaper and no script needed..

oxymoron's did NOTHIN' fer me .. ever

probably a good thing

perk-a-dan'S.. wisdom teeth .. oh THOSE were way too good

I found myself at the other end of the house yacking about somethin somethin .. three times in a minute and a half

and I only took one .. the first one .. and never another

I supposed they tested 'em on a guy named dan .. it would only make sense .. explaining the name
