Well now legally me and 99 of my closest friends can now

meet Saturday nights. Bin waiting all summer for this to

start again. Of course it won't be as much fun as the

sneaky meet we have been doing but hopefully properly spaced we can

get back to the basic B/S of how fast that old ride was and what a bargain that

barn find was and how I fixed that problem that nobody else could. Remember

the rules guys ,"never let the truth stand in the way of a good story and when listening

to that same story for the tenth time just smile and nod knowingly. Let the good times

roll. At least here in Port Hope . Ed

Hers hoping a few cruise will be able to start. I'm at the very far east of GTA [just east of Port Perry & still wonder why were in that] so none will be going locally. Maybe Lindsay will start up ??? The "Barn " at Fowlers Corners is "way to Big" crowd wise, 400 + cars + spectators kinds "blows" the 100 max.

This Stage 3 should be great. Infected folks from my area will go for a drive and eat at a restaurant out of town and, BAM, here we go again.
They should be asking for ID and only let people dine in that live in the same zone or other zone that's included in Stage 3.

Bin talking to a few area rodders and the consensuses is no organized event for
a couple weeks till Durham hits stage 3 cause we were wondering if we might
get overwhelmed because we are open and they aren't, so no organized Saturday
night runs in Port Hope but I understand a few are meeting and planing tours and small gatherings.
Like Shag said old friends, thats what I have been missing, the social aspect . So hopefully it will build slowly and safely. Ed

There's an article on the news about east Vancouver (bad area) and how no one there gets the virus.
But, there are hundreds of over doses there.
I think I'll stay home for a while longer.

 Exactly

I don't understand that they are still allowing air fights in from some of the hot spots. Some of those people refuse to self quarantine for 14 days.

At this point in the game I don't think people should be given a choice. You enter the country, you spend 2 weeks in an appointed place, have the test and if negative then you're on your way. If ya don't like those rules then don't come here. Simple.......but out spineless weenies on the Hill would never enforce it. It might be again'st someones "rights".

 Exactly!

It only take a couple days for a test result though, so why spend 2 weeks in quarantine?

Lock em up for those two days while test results are pending.

A gal from our office went for a test Thursday around 10 AM and had the results yesterday at 1:05 PM. (negative, so you need not walk a 100' radius around

me if you see me at a cruise night, ha)

The problem is, most people won't create antibodies until after day 5 of infection.  So if you tested on day three after exposure, the result would be negative but you could spread it.  All the "one way aisles" and "masks" has taken the fun out of a shopping trip.  Even a trip to Princess Auto for me now.  Anybody else?

Thats kind of the point with the blue maxi pad with ear wings . Its not going to protect me from you if you don't have a mask but if for some reason I'm positive and don't know it's going to reduce the chance of me infecting you... It could cut that 6' down to 1 or less before I can slobber on you. It is what it is for now I don't think anyone likes it
