Been wanting something like a muscle car or 1932-39 car forever. Been looking at many cars at shows after I had to scrap my 69 Chevelle in ‘86. Saw many Chev and Fords but never pulled the trigger. Over the years, have seen this car many times at shows and it was for sale in 2019 but was not ready, put it out of my mind. I did take a photo of it though. This June was searching the ads checking current pricing and the car was listed again and told the wife, I am going to look at a car. She responded really? A car? Made a deal and drove it home 3 weeks later.
1936 Chrysler Airstream Business Coupe. Was resto-mod nearly 20 years ago. 318 2 bbl w/904 and 8 1/4” rear end and front end w/front disc brakes from ‘88 Aerostar.
