Just wonder how long muscle car prices can maintain current levels
if museums and collectors continue to dump 200 cars into the market? Ed

Doesn't look like any time soon.

Hey Ed, I saw this car last fall at the GAA auction in Georgia. 1967 corvette, 427, six pack. It sold for $80,000 US.

Well, it looks like it was purchased by Legendary in Halton Hills. What do you want to bet it's over $200,000.

If people keep buying them for those prices, they'll keep selling them.corvette.png

I think they still have a blue 1966 L36 over there for 85k USD and 6.9% financing available LOL.  I get to see a lot of classic cars in my business and right now its the projects that are the give away deals.

other people spend there money. Maybe some day the fad may be to
ratty old sedan deliveries and some million air will just have to have one. Ed

Funny thing, I sold a car through the Toronto auction a few years ago when RM ran the show.  It was a 69 Mustang fastback 428 Cobra Jet in red.  For just a few minutes, you are up on stage, the bids were coming fast and furious and I understood the buzz of auctions.  It sold for much more than I would have ever asked for selling privately so that was good, but the whole experience was so hard on the nerves!  I guess that's why I will never get rich gambling.

This looks massive, all of the classic cars have been preserved.

Here is a link to the auction site with results for both cars and memorabilia. You may have to register to get the results, but that is easy. Everything is going for insane prices. There are still a lot of well heeled bidders out there.

Thanks Warren. I guess there's just too many people with a lot of money out there...lol

I wonder what's going to happen to the value of all these cars when you can't buy gas anymore?
