I remember an old commercial from when I was a kid and I never forgot it. As we see a lonely car trudging through a blizzard in the wee hours of darkness, they ask if we ever wondered how a snowplow driver gets to work. How many here remember the commercial and what make of car it was ? I do.
Wow how old are those commercials. First one I love the old plough
is that Oshcosh or Kinosha or something like that. I remember seeing
the second one on TV . Can you imagine the hurt feelings if they tried
something humourious like that today. Great stuff guys. Ed
That's the one I remembered ! And the other one I had forgotten about. Nice work guys. After the 1st video ends, it shows a still image of the VW dash. I had forgotten what they looked like and I have owned 5 over the years. Neat to see them again. Thanks for that. Nice to see the commercial again too. That was in the days of Rocketship 7 Commander Tom and Irv Weinstein. So long ago.
Can't say I remember that one....I do remember the one with the tail gunner on the back of the snowplow
The Department of Highways (pre MTO) caught hell for that one and they had to pull it. "Too violent" said the rulers. Still a neat add. They also had to remove the flashing orange lights on the back of snow plows that would shine through the blowing snow to alert following cars - "too bright". Rear end collisions with snow plows followed.

What was the name of that puppet that had what looked like a danish on its head on that show
and I don't mean Princes Leia. And how could we forget our own channel 9 kids show, the
drunken Uncle Bobby Show. Ed
