Has anyone ever actually used the "balance" setting in their car stereo? In all the years I've had a car the only time I've adjusted it is when it got nudged doing something else.
yea, i use the balance setting along with the other settings and have for many years. it is not something you use very often but with today's high tech multi speaker systems it does make a difference in how you listen to your music. once you take the time to tune it in, left-right, forward-rear, bass-treble and a couple more i can't remember i find it does make a difference and some of it by a lot. it is a personal preference thing i would guess.
Worst thing I spent money on in the Nova was the stereo. 496ci sounded way better and with flowmaster 40's the drone was to loud anyway. Rarely used it.

good one, lmao I can't say it is the worst thing i ever spent money on but, it's up there. I did pretty much the same with the Coronet after i put the hemi in with the 3" exhaust and flowmasters.

and ditto on using it. lol
p.s. the radio in the chevelle with the 572ci is a cheap upgrade from the stock radio and i am not even sure if it works anymore. Lesson learned, lol.
Seems radios and such are important to somebody. Just watched a commercial for Buick
that was nothing but a commercial for gadgets. No HP ratings, power train warranty talk,
no est mileage, nothing but radio and Bluetooth and some lady that comes with every
car that answers questions and gives direction and evidently isn't your wife. Ed
