I just saw a 1930 rat rod for sale on Facebook for a little over 5 grand. It looked like a rolling chassis with motor. I think it was a Tudor. I think it was just posted this morning.
Sorry everyone. I got excited and was too anxious to post the find so I forgot save the link in Facebook. But I remember it was in Toronto. I'll try and do better next time.
I found it again ! It is on Facebook in the group ' Ontario Rat Rods' posted by a gentleman named Otto Cos at 9:08 PM yesterday (Wednesday). I don't know how to 'post a link' from Facebook yet. A simple procedure I'm sure but I haven't done that yet. Sorry for the delay everyone.
1930/31 Ford Ratrod/Hotrod. 2x3 tube chassis. 256 Ford Y Block with 3 carb offy set up. 3 on the tree or have also made brkt for 3 speed Hurst floor shift. Brand new door head panels. Lots of extras that were purchased for build. Wiring harness lights etc. Can provide pics for all the extras. No time and no space, too many hobbies. $5250 OBO
Yup, that's the one ! And I think it already sold. It even has whitewalls and a triple deuce. Very nice. I will try to improve my Facebook skills for my next find to share.
Not to put a damper on a sweet ride, but with these new safety certificate rules in Ontario, how hard would it be to saftey and or drive it without being stopped by the police or MTO cops? Just wondering.
