I spent yesterday in the garage making a sheet metal bender. I found a few youtube videos that showed how but this one worked well for me.  Hope to finish it up today.  Looks like it stores away easy when done.  So if anyone needs to make one, here is the link:

You have multiple steps ,maybe I can show how its done in a video easier than trying to explain and lose something in the translation..
I'll try to set up over the weekend some time to show..

Actually, if you copy the address of the YouTube and paste it into the YouTube icon on the bar above the message box, it does this.

That's a fairly light brake. You can buy stuff equivalent at Princess auto on sale fairly cheap.
Don't expect to bend anything big or heavy with a nice tight fold.
If you need stuff bent up, try a local sheet metal shop. I have one up the road from, he's a hot rodder too. So he doesn't mind a small cash job.

Thank you lightspeed Mike. I enjoy making my tools anyway (plus I'm cheap). I figure I can't save cash on stuff like a valve job so I save where I can which enables me to get things like a valve job. But thanks. For heavy bending, that's a great idea. And thank you Poncho62. I will write it down so I don't forget. Nice tip.  That is so easy and really neat. Saves a lot of time for everybody !
