Long time lurker, tried to register a couple of times but it never seemed to work. all good now!

I am a retired toolmaker,had a few neat cars in my younger day, then got into motorcycles.

located in Toronto 

I purchased a 1951 2r5 Studebaker pickup in mid 2019, started to get organized for a build when I retired.

Retired in January 2020 started the build then covid hit as you know all too well!

The build accelerated as it became a full time job, managed to get do some miles in the fall last year and sort out a few leaks and some squeaks  and rattles.

The truck had been a stalled project that had sat indoors for 25 years, 2nd gen camaro front clip and a disc brake diff had been installed as well as a gas tank relocated.

A few small things to finish in the interior, I have been enjoying the drive this summer.

details:

4.8 ls, drive by wire, 4l60e,( from a 2005 sierra )4 link with coil overs,front coil overs

vintage air….. a blast to drive!!

That's cool. I believe my grandfather worked at the Studebaker factory, he lived right around the corner from it.
