    I have a 1970 GMC half ton .  Does anyone know of a " direct replacement " TILT column to replace the original . Appreciate any tips - THANKS , DON / Fleet 51

We used to use the columns from from GM 'G' vans,even form old GM motorhomes

Think I have one of them, tilt, and gear shift, but no ignition. Will need to check though

I used a tilt and telescopic 75 ish Cadillac column in my 50 Chev pick up

There are a number of aftermarket companys that sell these, I DidIt is the first one that comes to mind

Just my opinion but if you buy new I wouldn't buy one of the cheap offshore column's.

Hi Don, yes I found it at Fat Chuk's place He was going to use it on his sons early Ford p/u but went a different way. As I said, it is a tilt wheel column without ignition switch. The shifter is missing, but should be easy to get.
Very seldom I get up to your area, but planning on going to Turkey Fest in Waterford on Sunday if that helps.

 We might need a tilt column as well for the incoming '70 GMC project. Gonna confirm it when we take a closer look at it this weekend, we'll just finish installing the suspension and brake kit from 4Wheelonline onto the Wrangler. Good thing there are a couple of junk yards here with G vans parts.
