Hey all so Im just playing around with The Little  Gremlin , keep calm its my drag car  LOL

Apparantly my dollar store battery tender gave out . Battery could have been dead a year to 6 months ?? Could it be recharged ?? . I,m thinking just to put a cheap parts source regular battery in to see if it will start . Just prepping it for its ebay debut and it would look better with a gel battery , but I dont want to buy a new one , just to sell the car

Is there a technique for recharging gel cells , It has some life in it , will turn on lights etc but not enuff amps to run fans or water pump or fuel pump

My charger is a newer one and can do 2 amps charging

If it is an Optima battery, they can get too low for a charger to work. First you need an AGM charger, the optima unit costs more then the battery. Next, you hook a lead cell battery in parallel to the AGM and connect the charger to the lead cell. Usually charges in about 24 hours. Optimas are a bitch to charge.
