Hi folks these guys are out of Baden Ontario I have never delt with them before  and reviews seem difficult to come buy. Was hoping some here are familiar with his work I really want to support a Canadian company in these tough economic times and still get a quallity product.

The convertor is for a BBC 509cid 750hp. no power adders , Turbo 400 manual valve body , 3.73 gear , 28'' tire.  Car weight is 3800lb.

If you know of someone else let me know please my Trans / convertor guy closed shop , retired, died , shot , not sure his name was Tricky Vic .IMG_20210609_120716440.jpg

I've used Summit Tranny in Hanover ON. He takes all pertinent info of your vehicle & orders a convertor from an outfit in Montreal - quality work fo me so far! He advertises in Old Auto's.

I just bought one from him, and he came highly recommended from a pro four 4x4 race team
prices are awesome, workmanship is excellent and customer service was good too
emailed asking if he had convertor bolts to sell, and he shipped me a set free of charge

Jerzy Zaborski is his name

humph! i commend you for trying to buy local and as a local business owner i understand the desire to do so but at the end of the day you have to protect your investment. i tried to buy a tranny local when i was putting my chevelle build together, 572cid dart motor with 823hp on pump gas. the biggest worry i heard from the local guys was the weight factor of the car and mine being a 70 chevelle it will be real close to your weight. they could build for the power but not for that weight car and be confident about it.
there was someone up in the ottawa area that got mixed reviews and when i asked some of the guys with the big h-p cars, 1000hp plus, a couple were using someone in ohio.

long story made short, i ended up buying from california performance transmissions a 200 R 4 with a custom converter set to the dyno numbers i supplied from the engine builder and car stats.  before this build i pretty much knew nothing about auto trannies running big power and i still pretty much remember some of it, lol, but when i did some snooping to do it right i ended up there and so far it has been a big win. i put the car on the road 10 years ago, were the h-e double LL did that go, wow, and till this day i had no idea you could buy an auto trans that can do and take what this thing is taking with the slicks on once in awhile.

nice car and good luck however you go with it bud, it's a big decision, been there-done that kinda thing.   p.s.  that was 10 years ago and i am sure there are more options today.

Thanks for all the replies it was a challenging week I dropped J & K off my list . There's a company in Langley BC builds nice stuff read some great reviews but charges $ 150.00 core charge on a new build.

I'm disappointed to say that I ordered from a US company purchased a 9.5'' street racer series 3600 stall worked out $400.00 less and got hooked up with free shipping. It will be 6 weeks till my order is filled.
