300 ft of fence to put up this summer .Bought all the pressure treated wood from a lady getting divorced and the city ordered it out of her drive way. 500.00 for all .Enough for the deck too..

It's rumored that they are but I wouldn't want to be doing a major wood based project right now. Check www.homedepot.ca for sticker shock. But at least the weather is better and the snow is pretty well gone. I'm surprised the sap is still running, we have to empty the buckets twice daily.

9.98 for a 2x4x8 at the depot , and people are still buying them by the cart full. I refuse to pay these prices .I actually picked up 30 used 2x4x8 this week from a job site , had to pull out all the nails .Wondering if I should save and straighten the nails for reuse ??? Check the price of nails lately ???

Prices have not dropped.  We are headed to a recession quickly.  Costs of materials for everything have gone up faster than most salaries.
