If you have your battery stored as I do behind the seats under the floor, you probably find it awkward every spring and fall to move the battery if you store your battery elsewhere over the cold season.
But recently, I built some taller jack stands and having done that, I can now move my battery in or out with ease after making a tool to fit in my hydraulic jack. The battery now slides into position with ease.
I tried 5 times to put the battery in yesterday before realizing that with the extra height I now had, I could utilize my jack to assist.
So if you are in a similar position, make something like this. I used old bed frames and it didn't take long to make. About one morning, then paint.
So if your battery is under your floor and you don't have a hoist, save yourself a lot of grief and time and make one of these to fit in your hydraulic jack. It even swivels for exact placement.
