Had a reputable tranny shop rebuild & install an overdrive tranny this past spring. Went to grease the new 'U' joints they installed & both grease nipples wouldn't accept any grease. Upon installing 2 of my fittings problem averted. Offshore junk? Gotta double check every thing !!!!
I just put moog u joints into a 2016 ford 4x4 truck a month or so ago and one joint had a grease nipple with it that did not have the check ball , spring , or even the port for grease
