Poncho62 these pics brought back a flash memory from 1997 or 98 (not sure of exact yr). We had our annual 1st Friday in June with the day ( London Motorsports Park in Sparta Ont) off for our Automotive students to attend a High School Career Day with 6 to 8 high schools from different parts of Ontario in attendance. Some of the students & teachers stayed for the weekend Funny Car racing. John Force was grudge matching against another American Funny car. At the end of the track his parachute failed & he ended up in a corn field - unhurt & minor damage to the car. Our TA (teaching asistant) had his tilt load there in case a vehicle needed a lift back home. The announcer asked for a tilt loader to bring the Force car back to the pits. Out TA was quick to answer the call & he drove back up the track w/ Force's funny car on his tilt. Our TA was given the royal tour of John's pit operation! Students were goob struck w/ the chance to get close to that super star.

I watch drag racing on youtube but I guess all here would already know youtube has it. I like watching the really old cars and trucks.

I Love watching the time attacks at Gwood where else can you watch a 1907 ish italian race car go against a retired 70,s mcclaren vs a 1986 nascar vs a 900 hp turbo subaru . Then comes the vintage classes and the Mini,s , hitting 135 mph on the stretch on 4.5 inch wide bias plies

I watch Bad Chad sometimes . I see people saying bad things about him but when you compare to the barris or rat fink , those guys used tons of bondo lead even paper mache .
and those videos from Quebec , trucks pulling a trailer racing up hill LOL guys brag about shifting a four speed at the track . Those trucks are doing a shift about every five feet
