I have not brought a vehicle back from the USA for 15 years.what can l exspect at Buffalo /Fort Erie ? Do l need a broker ? It is a 1982 pick up ?  3 days notice..Thanks

absolutely need a broker these days and three days minimum notice usually - unless it is a known carrier bringing it across for you

So can l pick up tge old truck my self with a car trailer ? I do know bringing old snowmobiles home from Michigan is simple..

I use Simplified Trade Solutions ,go on there website,fill in the form,they will send you a invoice for $35.00 and you get a a ITN number,you do need 3 days wait time,and check to make sure the border is open on the US side for exporting vehicles,the one I cross at Alexandria Bay is only open from M-F 8-4

Just checked the CBP site,Buffalo only open M-F 8-4
