A good friend is resurrecting an old Nash project that has been on hold for quite awhile and asked about where to find some reliable info on hopping up a ford 300 6 banger for it.  any leads would be greatly appreciated.  thanks,   rick

A guy named Jim Lindsay in Gueph raced his Falcon with a 300 six. He was still racing it a couple of years ago. He is quite old now, not sure if he is still in business. I found this on Facebook.

Thanks ponch but he isn't looking to go racing with this thing. it has been on the back burner now for at least 20-25 years now and every 2-3 yrs he brings it out of the back room and does a bit more. it is at the point now ready for power and a paint job, sort of thing and being a certified ford nut he has had this project in the back of his mind a long time. he is more looking for a reliable sunday driver with just a hint of balls and flash. he has a twin turbo ranchero at about the same level of ready to go to the track that i hope is next in the queue. he is looking for info pertaining to caming and head work suggestions as it will be 3x2 carbed and headers for the flash and a touch of a little snot but drivable.
he will understand what he is reading but old school and not computer savvy sort of thing. i told him i would snoop around for him. thanks bud

I saw Jim's original version of he Pepper Mill at Niagara when I was a kid with my Dad. Years later my family and I had the pleasure of meeting him at Grand Bend on a nostalgia weekend when he was running the Comet. Really nice guy.
