This unit followed me home the other day. Other than old and sold in Toronto I can't find any info out about it. No maker name etc.

If you recognize it let me know.

Picture is sideways, not the mill on it's side.

Very strange that is has no identification plate anywhere.
I haven't seen any older machines that were China stuff.

It appears to be British as far as I can tell by the Withworth fasteners on it.
Got it wired up with a 1HP motor and VFD.
Now it's torn apart waiting for some new Acme nuts for the cross feeds.

Got it all rebuilt with new lead screws and put on a power feed to boot.

After some looking on line,I believe the mill to be a Marlow.

Already to make some chips!

For some reason the forum format doesn't like my pictures and puts them in sideways.

Where did you get the new lead screws. I priced them years ago and the price was through the roof. I use my mill very very little little so the extra expense as not worth it.

Thanks for the info Mike. I am planing on selling my mill in the near future as well as several other machines so I will give them a shot on a price. Not a great deal of play but it has some to improve on.
