WOW... How did Grogan "lose" (3 Million) so many vehicles? How were they sold out from under him. Something not right there. Did he get paid out by insurance? If he did then it should be up to insurance to get paid back by the thief's in a claims court.... No?

Bradshaw's work. This lady isn't the only one affected. But she has been the most vocal about it.
I'd like to know if the victims can get any restitution? Will they have to sue Bradshaw in civil court?
BTW, he's still driving around. I think court date is in Sept. Which will probably get remanded a dozen times. He plays that game well, as he's been doing it a long time.

It's a big mess and a lot of internal politics about it within the car community around here bud. I haven't seen him but a couple of guy's said he was at cruise night a couple of weeks ago as if nothing is going on.

Like Kurt asked how did Grogens Classics manage to loose 3mil worth of cars? Ed
Read these posts on another site.......
I believe the Ford dealership owned them when they were stolen. Grogan Ford has a huge old car collection all of which are for sale
Paul Downs said Grogan only discovered the theft of the vehicles when an employee attended at the MTO office to transfer the ownerships of more than one hundred vehicles from one Grogan corporation to another and discovered that some of the ownerships were not registered in their corporate name, but in other peoples names.
So someone stole a whole bunch of Grogons old vehicles and nobody noticed for 3 years? Wonder who was in charge of keeping these vehicles safe and sound and how many disappeared from his storage? I assume the MTO accepted forged signatures to do these transfers, culpable? Well likely see lawsuits? I hope.
From what I have heard Grogan hired Robert Bradshaw as a buyer. Bradshaw would find cars and send Grogan the details and prices. What happened is that there may have been more than one vehicle for sale and Bradshaw would keep one for himself. Grogan bought one vehicle but was actually paying for two or more. Grogan Ford would receive the ownerships and transfer them into the dealership name but never actually had the car. It might sound unbelievable but it wouldnt be uncommon for a dealership to transfer three or four hundred cars at once. Bradshaw would then go to Service Ontario and get a replacement ownership and sell the car. It was discovered when Grogan Ford was sold and the ownerships were being transferred into Grogan Classics. Apparently there could be about 300 cars affected.

If they came and took back a car I paid for it would be a dark night and a baseball bat
I am on your side bud but when a cruiser shows up in your laneway with a tilt and load you really don't have a lot to say about it. The sad part is he "mucked" some guys around on the purchase side of it also. A guy down here sold him one also but the gov stepped in and froze the money and the car was gone. It's a big mess down here and tempers are getting short.
From what I read this issue is causing a ruckus at the Bellville cruise because evidently the Bradshaw guy sometimes still shows up. Ed
You hit that square on the head Ed. I haven't been at the cruise for quite awhile but I want to catch up on it now. One of the side players was trying to buy my hemi coronet but I wouldn't sell it to him because I didn't like where it was going but he is into this also, from what I am hearing now.
A cousin of a good buddy sold bradshaw a coupe for 80g's with a 40g certified cheque and the balance cash, but the cops froze his bank account for the 40 as it was bought from the proceeds' of crime. It's a big mess..
I worked for a shop called COT tire yrs ago and we serviced vehicles for a smalll construction co that the owner was friends with that family . they had this really nice Canadian Indian guy who was a foreman on a back framing crew . They bought him a really nice dark dark blue chevy truck to drive as his personal truck .One day he comes in with a ford truck . Apparantly company bought the chevy 4 - 5 years ago and gave it to him . Downtown barrie , face down on side walk 3 Barrie cops on him , Turns out the truck was stolen , cops tried everything they could think of , a year in court for possesion stolen property etc etc . They wouldnt let it go . He got off , so did company . They owned the truck in company name for a year ? Then gifted it to the guy as part of his job , transferred it to his name and he drove it for like 4 years
They bought him a ford truck to replace it . That stolen chev truck was driving all over barrie orillia cookstown wasaga beach bradford area for 5 years
