Looking for info pertaining to a new mopar motor.

My escalade motor gave up the ghost and looking at a brand change over to a wagoneer with the new 6 cyl 3.0L.  Just looking for any info anyone has had or heard about these motors. They have my attention with their horse power numbers.

I work in a body shop and it looks like mopar parts are way more expensive than other brands . If that is an issue for you?

Take the plastic fender hemi  emblem for example.... Up around $200 for 1

Thanks 30-S6 for the input.  I am more looking at the power train side of it with this new motor that is replacing the Hemi for their bigger H/P vehicles. From what the dealer tells me the hemi isn't an option anymore and is replaced with the inline 6 twin turbo making up to 540 H\P. I took a loaded up 1/2 ton for a test drive with this big 6 in it and it was impressive so I am looking at Wagoneer's to replace the caddy.  If it means anything, lol, I have been driving a 2023 loaded Jeep Wrangler/Sahara for the last 3 weeks with a turbo 4cyl at 290 h/p and it surprised me being a 4 banger.

I can't help you with the Mopar motor Shag, but do I remember correctly that you had issues with the motor in the Caddy before?

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the eco-diesel engine. It is a 2015, before they were put in the RAM 1500. It is an absolute rocket and also a black hole the way it sucks money. I would buy another one even after having been aware of the operating costs because of it's towing capacity and road handling ability. Not sure if everyone would though.

yes, your on the money bud. they had the heads off it twice replacing failed lifters and obviously they should of put a cam in it also as that is what broke this time. all they did was kick the problem down the road until after the warranty was up. that and they rebuilt the tranny twice and it was screwing up again out of warranty.  that was the 4th caddy i had in about 20 years and i liked them till this one.  hence, the brand change.

they all have issues chris, but this one felt like an insult especially after i had questioned them about the cam the first time they had it apart. when the tranny started screwing up the first time around 40k their fix was to change to a newer fluid, i had a hard time digesting that one. the 2nd time it did it at about 90k they rebuilt it and it was good till recently at 130k then started shuddering again gradually getting worse.  i tried a big navigator before this one but it had no power at all for towing, too bad, it rode nicer than the caddy and was a lot quieter. between the motor and tranny repairs it was getting close to 25 grand for the fix and you still end up with a tucked up powertrain platform, hence the change.

i don't know much about that motor wuga but truthfully i am impressed with this wrangler for fit, finish and handling but it is definitely not big enough to tow anything much more than a snowmachine or jet ski, maybe.

What is the towing capacity . Can it haul your projects etc or is it just for driving ? The last g cherokee we had was an 07 w 30 L diesel . It got the dreaded oil cooler oil leak and body was getting tough , We bought a 16 ram 1500 w 3,0 L diesel to do the move . It works fine . Electrically deleted but with the def deleted truck stinks

The tow weight is 9850 lbs which is higher than the caddy by 1950 lbs, surprisingly. Picked it up yesterday from a dealer up on Hamilton mountain with 1400 kms on a 2023 grandwagoneer series 2 with the 510 hp inline twin turbo 6 banger in it. It drives and handles quite well but there is going to be a sharp learning curve for all the bells and whistles, lol.
