This Saturday is the Lakeside car show at the Cobourg beach. A great show that does not advertise rods but they will not turn them away. They average 250 cars and that almost maxes the size area the town lets them use. I enjoy watching some of the volleyball matches (for the competitive side of it).

I drove up to see the show and was surprised there was no parking other than paid street parking and those spots were all filled. No coins in my pocket and you can't stuff a $5 bill in the machine even if you could find a spot . I just turned around and drove home .
That is a shame RWW, but unfortunately typical for this time
of year. The beach are is always a madhouse on hot weekends,
throw in one of the best vintage car show and you have ciaos.
Most locals locals avoid the beach area on weekends just for
that reason. Hope you come back sometime we have a really
good cruise in Port Hope on Saturday nights if you are in the area. Ed
