I thought you might all get a laugh out of this, at my expense. A while ago i won a bidding war on E-bay, for an original, sealed copy of the Vanishing Point Movie Soundtrack. I probably paid too much but got caught up in the moment. Fast forward to now. If i open the plastic to verify, its not sealed "new". If i don't open it, i'll never know if i got ripped off. What to do??? Lol
Guess it depends on if you've bought it because you feel it is valuable as a collectible or if you
bought it for the music.. I personally don't get having something that is unused, but that's me.
We were raised with antique cars ,toys ,furniture etc to use it as it was intended but look after
it as if you want it forever!

There probably is a million or more copies of that thing.
How many more people will think it is a collector item.
Is it a dust collector or should it be used like it is supposed to be used.
Rip the damn thing open and enjoy it.

I have all the music digitally so not urgent to listen to it. I met Bob Segarini in a bar in Whitby and we had a talk about Vanishing Point. I drove my Challenger down to the Utah desert to visit Cisco, the place where they filmed the final crash scene. Its more of a "keepsake/memory" at this point.
When i saw the price of gas in the high desert, i understood why Kowalski drove into the bulldozer! 120 miles between gas stationskinda sucked with the 440.
