Hey everyone, Guelph-Elora area here. I'm not driving any cool ride to speak of and finally kicked my unfinished '87 Chevy shortbox to underside of a tarp at the side of my house. Not quite to the curb...yet...but the interest has been lost for now. As I spend more time doing metal fabricating for others than working on my truck, I'll put it aside for now and pickup on it later.

Welcome Scott...I am sure you will get back at it someday....Like I can talk....I havent built a car/truck in 20 years......Luckily, mine still runs after 20 years....need to do some maintenance on it this winter....brakes, exhaust.....lol
we welcome every one with the same respect owner, driver, builder, as long as you have any type of motor oil in your blood you will be welcomed here. Take your time and I hope we can get your creative blood flowing to get back to your truck. Those years of trucks make great low riders.

Thanks guys - I didn't take any photos of my work as it's been nothing too fancy. (It's been run of the mill fabs like workbenches, metal cabinets, collapsable sandblaster cabinet, welding & cutting table, weight training equipment & heavy bag stands, trailer mods, ornamental repairs, custom camper bike & canoe carriers, auto rotisseries, engine stands etc....just basic everyday shop and home & yard stuff so far)
uh, that doesn't sound like I'm advertising...does it?

Here's a couple of photos of the sandblaster cabinet I built to work in conjunction with my cutting/welding/quench table. Its smaller than I'd like, but space is a huge issue for me. The table and sand hopper store underneath my main workbench and the cabinet breaks down into 4 panels and hangs on the wall. Its still unfinished, but I'll get around to working the bugs out someday...the sandblaster is too week for my liking and the cabinet needs to be finished...too many things to do.
