Just following up on the invite from Poncho. My current toys are a '74 hot rod Beetle for when I'm in a shiny mood and a '67 patina'd Chevy stepside for tearing up the roads.
I'm trying to work, will cruise the site when I get the chance, maybe beg for some parts. With this weather the itch is here, time to dig the toys out I think.
I don't have any good pictures but heres the truck the day I sprayed her, red over black. She was then wet sanded thru the red for an old faded farm truck look. With this paint job it gets a lot of attention and I can drive her anywhere.
The Beetle has almost a candy paint job, I hate parking it near anything, too many butt heads out there. It has a dropped front beam and I've managed to get one stone chip in seven years.
